Request Deletion of Your Data

This page explains how you can request deletion of your shrammitra account and personal data, what will be deleted, what may be retained, and typical timelines.

How to Request Deletion

1. In-app: Open the shrammitra app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. If you don't see this option, use email instead. 2. Email: Write to shrammitratech@gmail.com from the email/phone linked to your account with subject "Data Deletion Request". Include your full name and registered mobile number. 3. Identity check: We may ask you to verify via an OTP sent to your registered mobile number to confirm the request.

What Will Be Deleted

• Account profile (name, photo, gender, languages, contact details). • Worker/Contractor/Company profiles you own. • Documents you uploaded (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, certificates), subject to legal retention noted below. • Attendance records, job/project applications, assignments, and in-app activity tied to your identity. • Device tokens used for notifications.

What May Be Retained (Limited & Lawful)

• Legal/Compliance: Records required by law (e.g., tax/payment invoices, fraud-prevention logs) for the duration mandated by applicable regulations. • Backups: Encrypted backups that include your data are overwritten on a rolling basis; deleted data is typically purged from backups within 90 days. • Anonymized data: Metrics that no longer identify you may be kept for analytics and service improvement.

Timelines

• Acknowledgement: We confirm your request within 7 days. • Deletion: We delete eligible personal data within 30 days of verification, unless law requires longer retention. • Backups purge: Up to 90 days after deletion, as backup cycles complete.

Third-Party Services

If you used services such as SMS/OTP providers, payment gateways, or verification vendors, we will forward deletion requests where applicable. Their own legal retention rules may apply.

Check Request Status

Reply to our acknowledgement email or contact shrammitratech@gmail.com referencing your request date and registered mobile number.
